fix costs

Hello !

I would like to request some advice regarding a problem I have : doe
somebody of you know how to assign a fix cost in two different days fo
a same work?

For instance, I have to buy an equipment for $50000 and there is a dow
payment of 30% the day first ($15000)and the rest 70% ($35000) the da
10th.
How do you put this two fix numbers into this work, in its proper
days?

I have been like a whole day trying to find out a solution to this bu
I could not!

In Project 2003 create separate milestones to represent payments.

In Project 2007 create a resource of type Cost (see help) and in the Task
Usage view enter costs against dates for the task.

Note that Project does not manage Cash flows well.
