Font size

If I have a word document which uses a font size of 11. The content of the
document needs to be edited by others in the company.

Is there something I can do so that they cannot change the font to a
different size?

Thanks all.

If, as Jezebel suggests, the polite requests does not work, you need a
macro. But, if a user's Word security setting is set to high, it will not
work. Would this be an issue?

Jean-Guy,

No, this would not be an issue as the document already has other macros
which need to be accessable.

Thanks for your reply.

So create a macro that will reset the font in the document to 11 points.

Then call this macro in a BeforePrint procedure (see
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/macrosvba/AppClassEvents.htm) as well as in a
Document_Close procedure (In the ThisDocument module).

Unfortunately, you don't tell us which version of Word is involved. If it's
2003, then you can protect the document so that formatting can't be changed,
and only certain styles may be used.
