My associate installed Publisher 2003 Pro. He has several fonts that my
installation does not have. Did I miss something during the install?

The fonts could have been installed by other
software on your friend's system. The fonts
you see in Publisher are all in your Fonts folder.

For example...you can download free fonts from
a site like the following and install them in your
fonts folder and all of your aps can access them.

Although I have SCADS of fonts on my system and several websites where I can
get more, I've saved this link. Ya' never know when you're gonna need a
special font...............

I always like the freebies...don't you?

I always felt they are worth what they cost. Nothing like sending a huge
document to a professional printer and having it mangled because one
likes cheap fonts. This is especially true if one is using an el-cheapo
pdf program to output files.

I've only ever had one problem with a font not appearing - and it wasn't a
freebie. I've also learned to look at the test print before having the
printer make the full run of my newsletters.

Ed looks left. Ed looks right. No-one is there. Furtively, Ed picks up
a note from Mike Koewler said:

I like freebie fonts that come with good applications like CorelDraw - they
normally cost $21 a piece, from what I've seen on fonts.com etc., but they
are built-in to the price of the program.
