I have downloaded a lot of new fonts to my new computer. They are all in my
Fonts folder in my Control Panel. They are all "TT" fonts, yet I cannot
access them through my Publisher program. I downloaded them to use in a
newsletter that I do on a monthly basis and now I can't use them. Help,
please!!!

Are you using a web based newsletter? If you are you'll only see web friendly
fonts. To change this, while your cursor is in a text box, Format, fonts,
uncheck "show only Web fonts."

My Newsletter is not web based. I am doing the newsletter from my Publisher
program. So I still want to know why I can't use the "TT" fonts that I have
downloaded and are in my fonts folder on my computer.

I don't remember if this is necessary once you've copied/pasted the
fonts into the proper directory (I don't think it is)... but have you
gone through the "formal installation" of those fonts?

Yes, I have gone through the formal installation of the fonts. So I guess
that the new fonts I have downloaded are useless for the newsletter. Oh
well, it was a good idea anyway. Just thought paying that much money for the
Publisher program would be worth it. Thanks for the suggestions.

On File, Page Setup, Printer tab, do you actually have a printer selected
there? If not you won't see any of the fonts available either.

Can you use the fonts in any other program on the computer, including
WordPad (if you don't have any other Office program installed?)

thank you, I checked on the printer tab and changed a few things and the
fonts will work. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!
