I'm working on an excel spreadsheet and I want to add the
same footer to all the pages except the last one. The
last one I would like to either change the footer or
leave it blank, is that possbile?

Hi
try the following:
- select sheet 1
- hold down the SHIFT key and select the last sheet of interest
- goto 'File - Pagesetup' and define your footer
