footers and heaters don't get it please please help

Excel ??

Hello everyone,

Please help me here, i've added footers to every slide and i just don't see
them...it is so weird, i added to a template can that make a
difference???thank you for your help... Please help....so strange...

Did you add the footers in the box on the slide (by typing in the box), or
did you add them via View | Headers and Footers? If the latter, do you
*have* a footer placeholder on the slide master? Go to View | Master | Slide
Master and then Format | Master Layout. Put a check by Footer and hit OK.

Do you have background elements turned off on the slides? Choose Format |
Background and see if you've checked "omit graphics from master."

Excel ??

Hi I tried this and it worked but only on the master slide, i want to footers
to show on all slides, also the page numbers aren't showing and i want this
to the left of the slide....foorter to right and page number to the left?
and i want all these on all slides...thank you all for your help.

hello all, i'm almost there, how do i add in the footer area page 1 of ? i
only get slide 1, 2, 3 i need my presentation to say 1 of etc..thank you all

So you got the footers and page numbers to show up, I take it?

For "slide XX of YY," you need an add-in. Or you can type the "of YY" part
into the box on the slide master.

So it would look like this;

<#> of 25

You'd type in that "of 25" part on each master.
