Form Permissions Problem

I am upgrading from NT Server V4 to Win2000AS. When I try
to use a form to post data, I get a Windows logon prompt.
If you press enter without entering ANY data in the prompt
box, the form processes normally and the data keyed in
gets sent in the email like it is supposed to. Why is the
logon prompt showing up and what needs to be done to fix
the problem? I already have permissions on the web site
directory set to "Full Access" for "Everyone" and
the "IUSR" account. How much more permissions are
necessary? This problem does NOT happen on NT4.

Please HELP!!

Thanks

Is there a URL we can look at? What "action" does the form take? I.E, does
it send an email, save results to a file etc.. If it's saving results to a
file then you may not have the permission set correctly on the folder it's
trying to save to. It would need write access.

This is occuring on my test server which is not available
over the Internet. The "action" is that it sends an
email, which is successful once the logon prompt is
replied to by just using the "enter" key.

What Server (OS) is your test machine? What version of the FPSE are you
using? What SMTP server are you using to send email on that machine? Did
you check the properties of your SMTP server (outbound email) to make sure
you're not requiring authentication?
