Formatting an existing document

I have blank lines in an existing Word document that I need to type new
information into on a daily basis. I also would like to feed an already
typed document, with these lines being blank, into a laser printer so just
the info on the blanks lines will print.

Hi shellyd,

You should use form fields.

Choose View | Toolbars > Forms.
Insert text form fields on the places where you have to fill in your own
text. Do so with the first button on this toolbar.
Click the last button on the Forms toolbar to make the form fields
accessible. Navigate with the tab key or click directly in the fields.

If you in addition check Tools | Options... | tab Print | Print data only
for forms, you won't see the rest of your document on the print.

Good luck,
Cooz
