formatting excel worksheet columns

i want a column to go sequentially from 1 to 2 to 3 how do i do it

Hi

do you mean you want to type 1 in cell A1 and fill across to C1 so that you
see 2 in B1 & 3 in C1 - if so
type 1 in A1
go to the autofill handle (bottom right of the cell) when you see the + hold
your left mouse button down and the Control key
drag to C1 let the mouse go & then the control key
