Formatting in Excel question

Regina

Using 2002, we would like to have every line in bold type
that begins with PN: ######## (number changes but always
begins with PN:). Is there a global type of search &
replace function for this?
Thanks in advance!

Regina,

You could do this with conditional formatting. Select the cells, note the
active (white) cell of the selection. Format - Conditional formatting -
Formula is:

=LEFT($A1,2)="PN"

Change $A1 to the active cell of the selection. Click "Format," select
"Font" and select bold.
