Formulas and Customized Fields

I posted a message under formulas, JackD wrote back thanks JackD. But wanted
to ask on formulas and Customized Fields.

I am trying to populate cells in a master project or project with inserted
projects. Based on the input of one cell, I am trying to populate other
cells, for example, an address, phone number, etc. that is tied to a
building. The building number I would insert, and several other cells would
be populated based on that number. I have alot of experience in excel on how
to do this with If statesments and vlookup. Are there any examples out there
that will show me how or will I have to write a Macro to do this?

Any Help would be appreciated.

Hello,
The If function exists in Project with the same syntax than in Excel. But
all the formulae addresses in Project are "horizontal" : on the same row.
There is no VLOOKUP.
Yes, a VBA procedure could do that.
