Formulas do not recogonize new entries

I am an experinced user but have a problem. On a worksheet that I have been
using for some time, the formulas that I have setup do not recognise new
numbers. I have checked my formulas and they are correct. But when I add a
number the sum dos not chnage.

Please help.

Have you checked your calculation settings in Tools > Options
Calculation tab?

Have you checked your cells' number formats? If they're Text, the
you'll need to change them to something else, copy a blank cell, an
paste special, Add on top of the 'numbers' that aren't bein
recognized
