forwarded mail comes back to me in inbox

I have Office XP. When I forward or reply to any message
the message goes to the recepient but it also shows up in
my inbox and I don't want it to.

Things I have tried are the following: created a new
profile in outlook, did all office updates, did a repair
on outlook and nothing has fixed this problem. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
