I have upgraded to server 2003 and for some reason all my asp pages are no
longer working. They are marked as "page cannot be displayed" when I try to
access it. Does anyone have any suggestion for me?

Thanks in advance.

I'll assume you've installed IIS along with the FP extensions. One last
item to check, make sure IIS can execute .aspx files.

In the IIS MMC server extensions folder (this has nothing to do with
FrontPage extensions) check that ASP is an allowed service.

What is the exact error message or error type? Page not found - 404?
Server error -500?

The error is "HTTP 500 - Internal server error"

Actually in firefox the error is:

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0131'

Disallowed Parent Path

/test/CallLog.ASP, line 128

The Include file '../_fpclass/fpdblib.inc' cannot contain '..' to indicate
the parent directory.

If that help at all.

Kathleen,

Is there another way to resove this issue? Support item Q332117 gives a
workaround but mentionsthat making the change may constitute a security risk.
I use FP to path the database within the page and it uses the "..". Will
this issue be fixed sometime soon?

Thank you,
Cathie

You can safely use Parent Paths or the other solution is to not use the FP database components and
learn to hand code.
