fp2003: why doesn't my aspx work?

Being new to frontpage 2003, perhaps there is something I didn't setup
properly in FP or IIS to display aspx's. When I access the page w/ IE 6,
what I see is basically the "code" view.

Environment: XP pro, IIS 5.1, .net framework 1.1 is installed, IE 6.
Page was generated with database interface wizard.
Same page works when configured as ASP (as opposed to ASP.NET).

Go to a command prompt and switch into the v1.1.4322 folder. Run
aspnet_regiis -i and try again.
