Frames Moving

I opend up a blank template, then I choose the "table layout" of a cross with
center post positioned to the left and saved it as a DWT file. When I type
text in any of the cells and continue to type text to the end, the ccll lines
move. How do I make it where the text wraps around to the next line opposed
to continue on one line moving the cell line?

Have you applied dimensions to the cells? In a cell you want a fixed
size, right click, choose cell properties then add a width, either in
pixels or %. Remember that all cells in a column will have the same
width.

Without dimensions, cells in a row will always resize in proportion to
their content - a cell with any content will always be much wider than
an (almost) empty cell - hence as you type the cell you are in will get
wider while the other cells in the row will shrink.

And - be very very careful about using merged or split cells in your tables.
They wire your tables in such a way that a tiny change in the shape of one
cell will ripple through the rest of the table like an earthquake.

This is one of the top reasons why new users of tables become frustrated.

Murray, the top cell with the initial frame layout, had 2 cells divided by
the center vertical line. I did merge those 2 top cells together. I opened
up a new blank page and inserted the table layout (the cross). I did no cell
merging. Under cell properties, I specified width and height in pixels on
all the 4 cells in the page. Then I saved and entered text typing all the way
to the end and the cell dividers and the page continued to expanded/moved
opposed to cell dividers being fixed and having the text wrap around to the
next line. Now what?

You must have content in all cells and you must have spaces in your text for the text to wrap.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx = will not wrap, will push out cell border
