Frames

Can the search engines read frames? Am I wasting my time
by adding frames to pages with graphics within the frames
to help control the load time?
I sure would appreciate any comments on this subject as I
can not find out any information about frames vs. search
engines. Thanks

Look at http://searchenginewatch.com/ and see submission tips. There is a
tutorial regarding frames sites.

In my opinion, Frames results in more problems for users than they solve.
Pages displayed in Framesets often have no navigation (relying on the
frameset), but are the pages found by search engines.
