Fresh PWA installation: issue with Custom Fields and Lookup Tables

Hi All,

I have installed Project Server 2007 in the following environment:

- Windows Server 2008 R2 x64
- SQL 2008
- WSS 3.0 SP2

when I try to edit the built in Field (like RBS) or lookup table (like
RBS), or when I try to add a new one (field or lookup), I gat the
following error:

The lookup table could not be saved due to the following reason(s):
- An unknown error has occured.

and the strange thing is that the field (or lookup table) stays check-
out...

why??? how can I avoid this??? is there any patch???

I'm going to apply the August CU, but I don't think is going to
help...

please help me...

Thanks

Vit

I can ADD other issues... really really strange!!!!

in Server Settings, with the System Admin User, if I open the system
user himself, I get the following error:

An error was encountered in loading the page. Refresh the page, or
contact your server administrator

but I'm login as the administrator!

also if I publish a project with the same system user I cannot see it
in "Project Center" ... with the client (MS project pro) I can open
the file, makes change, publish (and the process go well because I
don't get any error and checking the queue the job finish
successfully...

any suggestion... please....

thanks
