FrontPage glitch

I have a website created with FrontPage 98.

Recently my ISP abruptly switched to a new server, and my website address
was changed from http://www.lanset.com/mywebsite to
http://webs.lanset.com/mywebsite

As a result, when I try to publish changes to the site, the FrontPage pop-up
box lists the files being sent, but at the end there is an error message:

server error: unable to recalculate links for "/"

The changes are not published. There are no broken links in the site that I
can find.

Any help in overcoming this glitch would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I would recommend checking with your host to see if they have instructions
for publishing to this new server with FrontPage 98.

If you are still using FrontPage98, and the server is Unix with the
latest extensions the only solutions are:
1) Upgrade to a later version of FrontPage (FP2003 is the latest but
requires Windows XP or Windows 2000 SP3, FP2002 or FP2000 will run on
Win9x, if you can find a copy)

2) Move to a Windows server

The latest extensions on Unix platforms are not compatible with
FrontPage 98.

Thanks for your replies.

If I decide to get a new FrontPage edition, is there a relatively simple way
to transfer files from the website to the new FrontPage software (the old
software is on an older, slow computer and I have not had good experiences
trying to transfer software to the new computer).

The easiest way is to network the machines, open the web on the old machine using The new FrontPage
on the new machine, and then publish to the new machine.
