Frontpage removes ID tags from Included Page

Anyone know how to work-around the Bug where Frontpage
removes the ID tags from an included page?

see http://www.peelcci.com.au you can see the menu is
boring grey.. if you see the link "menu" at the bottom of
the menu, that takes you to the menu that works when
seprate, but gets the ID tags removed when included??

any hints...

Are the id names in the include page unique (not also used in main pages)

(try converting them to class names)

They are unique//

how do I convert them to a class. and would it still work?

Converted to Class - no change.. still a problem.. also
tried converting part to class and leave some as ID..
still no success...WHAT A BUG !!!

Not unique in topmenu.htm
Unique in that they are also not also an id in your pages using the includes

After changing topmenu.htm did you run a tools recalculate hyperlinks
- and (if not working online) publish changed pages (like your home page)

Note that the changes work on some of your linked pages as in
http://www.peelcci.com.au/about/index.html

I manually pasted in About - so show it is Frontpage
removing the ID tags.

The id tags are only used in the topmenu code.

Robert - Net Stuff

The BUG is still there.. it has been confirmed by
Microsoft Australia Support that it indeed is a bug and
will be looked into.

They have no work-around..as yet

But as you noticed - created a work-around and was able
to fix the problem by placing the code in a table cell
instead of using a <li> tag.

Seems to work.. I will be doing browser conmpatibly
checks next... but seems okay..
