Full data export to DWG files

I'm trying to save a Visio2003 drawing to DWG format (AutoCad). It's no
problem doing this, the problem is that Visio does not include all data in
the dwg file. Colors and patterns are not included. Does anyone know if there
is a RegKey that I can add or change to get Visio to include this in the dwg
file?

I use another application the import dwg files. If the dwg file is created
in Autocad it is no problem turning on/off different layers, colors and so
on, but when I import the Visiomade dwg file this is not possible.

Thankful for any ideas regarding this matter.

I think the article is mostly cad to Visio, but it's worth a read.
