Function help

I have a column that displays 'Yes' or 'No' Text. Does anyone know a function
to calculate the number of cells containing 'No'?
Thanks in advance of any help offered

If your Yes or Nos are in column A then use a COUNTIF function

=COUNTIF(A1:A30,"No")

Assuming your Yes/No is in column A, try this:

=COUNTIF(A:A,"No")
