Funny Corner Markers

Hello,

I have these funny markers when I open a new word Document. They looks like
photo mounts or corner of the old days. The hide/show icon is not on. I
have erase the normal.dot and allow Word to recreate it, but markers still on
the screen. So now I come to you as to how to remove it?
