GANTT BAR TEXT

I cannot add text for my task under the Gantt bar. Receive error message
"This value is not valid in the situation. Check to see if it requires a
text, a date or a number..." Please help.

You are limited to text on the graphical portion of the page. Select:
Format/Barstyles... select your gannt bar, then click text. When you click
in the "bottom" area, you will notice a dropdown arrow on the right side.
You are limited to one of these selections.

WHat you can do is select one of the free form items such as Text1 and that
will appear below your Gannt bar. This also requires inserting the Text1
column and typing whatever you want in each task cell.

How do I get to the free forms items to insert text under the Gantt bar?

Double click on the Gantt bar and you will get Format bars.
Select the Bar Text tab.
Select the field you want in the drop down for Bottom.

If you want absolutely free form of text for few bar
then form insert select drawing, click on the text box.
Insert the text box below the required bar and type what ever text you want
