I gave my assistant an excel file to work on, and he e mail the the
adjustments back. When I click on his file two come up. One says.xls:1, and
the other says xls:2

They seem to look the same. Wondering what it means.

He used Window/New Window to open a second window on the file.

If you close one of the windows, the ":X" will go away.

Don't know what that means, to open a second window on a file, or why he
would do that, but I deleted one of them and did a 'SAVE AS" and everything
seems to be ok. Thanks.
