I have Visio 2003 Professional installed and I hasve created a database
schema. How can I generate an Access database from it?

purchase the vs.net product because you need the visio enterprise architect
edition to forward engineer.

the version in the current vs.net is listed as v2003 but in fact is v2002.
the updated visio ea is being beta tested in the vs.net 2005.

Al, is there a good website to read up on this? It's probably here on MSoft
somewhere.

Al, thank you. I will read that over.

This is quite complicated nevertheless.

Al, I experimented with parts of all of this.

My question was actually more granular than that.

Let's I have an Access table (I generally call that database - bad habit).
Within the table a clear relationship from one main column to granualr
records can be discerned. Imagine fliping a visio char counter-clock wise, so
you would get the tree effect with the main starting point on the left hand
side.

How do I dump that Access table and it's relation ships into a visio drawing
and then actually do the drawing with assigned boxes.

Is there a piece I can read on that?

Thanks again,
pepe
