get rid of hyperlinks

Some of the material I am copying and pasting from Word documents has
emails and URLs that are printing out blue. How do I get rid of this? I
just want plain text formatting.

High-light the text, right-click, hyperlink, remove hyperlink

In addition to Mary's response, if you paste links from
Word into an existing text box in Publisher, be sure to
use the Edit > Paste Special > Unformatted Text option so
that the links don't appear as hyperlinks/underlined.
