Get Started with Visio 2k3 & UML

Can someone tell me how to get started with Viso 2003 and UML? I would like to capture user requirements with Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams etc..., turn those over to developers to generate prototype in .Net with database functionality. Also what benefits do I get using .Net with Visio development? Any thoughts would be appreciated

thx

I found this book to be a good introduction to using visio with uml, generic
enough so that the version level probably isn't critical (it's over on
Amazon.com). The primary benefits I saw were in the creation of class
skeletons and some database modeling (both reverse engineering for some
basic definitions and forward engineering for the test stuff) when working
with .Net.
Your mileage may vary,

What version of Visio & Visual Studio do you need? Will Visio Enterprise Architect edition only work fully with UML & Visual Studio full functionality?

thx
