Ghost

Brian

i set up a new image for my computers here in a school district. i ran the
ghost and tested out all the software. Office xp worked. when i ghosted a
computer (same hardware and everything) and tested out all the software,
everything worked except office xp. it runs the microsoft office xp
professional activation wizard.

I don't want to ghost all the computers and have to put the cd in all 100
computers. this has never happend to me before. HELP!!! Don't tell me its a
profile thing either i tried that and still didn't work.

Hi Brian,

It sounds like you installed and activated Office XP
on the first PC? Activation is hardware (machine)
specific when done as an 'individidual' install.

You may want to review this information in the
Office XP Resource Kit. About half-way down is
information on Hard Disk Image installs.

It depends on the license they have for the software.
