Global Template

I made a couple of global templates so I can use different toolbars that can
be shared. I copied particular macros that went with the toolbars from the
Normal template to these templates; but there is one particular template
"Styles.dot," where I cannot see the macros when I go into: “Tools, Macro,
Macros, Macros in: Styles.dot (global template).†I can see them if I open
the template in Word and then go into “Tools, Macro, Macros, Macros in:
Styles.dot (template)†BUT NOT Styles.dot (global template). Why do you
think that would happen?
In my MacrosFirm.dot global template, I can see the macros I inserted there.
I did rename the macros in MacrosFirm.dot to “MacrosFirm†and in Styles.dot
to “StylesMacros†when I copied some of the macros from “NewMacros†in the
Normal template.
Does anyone think they know why the names of the macros in my Style global
template will not show up?

G'day "ll" <[email protected]>,

When objects share names, it comes down to precedence. In this case,
you unfortunate choice of names has lead to direct conflict with
Word's Styles object (a collection of numerous Style objects in a
given document range).

Rename your template to Stylist. Then you will only clash with me but
my forthcoming article will put you into alignment with me and
everyone else :)
