Gradient Filling Group Shapes

M

Maxine

Hi - I wonder if there is a way to group, say, two or three shapes, and then
have a gradient fill them all so that it crosses all the shapes and doesnt
just fill each shape individually?

Hope this is clear!!

Many thanks!

Maxine,

Would you get the effect you're looking for by filling the shapes with a
background?

Try this:

Format > Background > Fill Effects to add your gradient.
Using the rectangle tool in the color of choice, completely cover the slide
Draw the desired shapes then group them (I think you'll want to select "No
Line"
Right click on the group, select Format Object
Under Fill > Color, select background.
