Graphic in runtime

Alex

Hello,

I just created an app that is being deployed in runtime. The app looks
perfect on everyone else's screen but one person who has purchased it. On
her screen, the graphic text and images are blurred. I sent her the image
outside of the application and it looks fine. She has a new machine so it's
not the issue. Everything else looks fine on her computer. Thoughts?

Hi, Alex.
She has a new machine so it's
not the issue.

If the computer is not configured to display graphics for the Access Runtime
version, then I vote for considering that to be the issue. The Access
Runtime doesn't install the many common graphics filters that Office
applications use to render graphics files. However, if another component of
MS Office were installed, such as Word, then the necessary graphics filters
would also be available for the Access Runtime to use, which is why you
probably didn't find this same problem on any other computer running this
application.

If another component of the MS Office suite can't be installed, then don't
just copy the DLL files from another computer, as one can't legally
redistribute those Office files. If the image is a JPEG or GIF file, then
take a look at Stephen Lebans's alternative on the following Web page:
