graphic lines redrawing slowly or not at all on display

Document has text boxes and drawn lines. When I open this document, the lines
are either drawn very slowly or do not show up at all on the monitor (they
print out and show up in the "Read" view. I had no problem with this in Word
2000. Help!!!

Try reducing the hardware acceleration setting in Start | Control Panel
| Display | Advanced | Troubleshooting.
