Graphic links to embedded graphics.

George Wilson

I am currently using Word 2002 on a Windows XP system. I
have data and graphics exported from another program into
HTML. I then save this as a Word DOC and all the graphics
are linked images. There are hundreds or even thousands of
these images in the document. Is there a macro or some
other process I can use to insert all the pictures and
remove the links?
TIA
George

Hi George,

No macros needed for this - simply select the range that you want to unlink,
then press Ctrl-Shift-F9. Bear in mind, though, that unlinking the images so
that they become embedded may result in a major increase in file size.

Cheers
