graphics do not show up in xp office word

I seam to be having the same problem with Word. It will not show the graphics
but prints fine and if I click on the space where the griphic should be it
will some times show up. When I print it out all of the matrial is there.

This a basic Word file with jpg in the text.

Ps I do have the picture place holder checked.

Try reducing the hardware acceleration setting in Start | Control Panel |
Display | Settings | Advanced | Troubleshooting. If this fixes the problem,
then you might want to check the website of the manufacturer of your video
card/graphics adapter to see if there is an updated driver available.

By default, the setting under Tools > Options, the View tab, Picture Place
Holder does eactly what you are experiencing--it shows only a picture
placeholder, not the picture. Uncheck this box.
