greeting card template appears as word doc

I have been unable to create a greeting card using the templates in Works
Suite 2006. When I click on any greeting card template, a word document
appears with the chosen motif on the lower right side of the page. How do I
get to a true half fold greeting card template?

This is a Publisher group.
That said, Works creates the template in Word. If you were to print the page as
seen on the screen, you would have a side folded card. The card will be folded
in fourths and the "motif" would be the front of the card.
