Groove 2007 and 100% cpu utilization

We have installed Groove 2007 on 5 PCs. On 3 of them it is working without a
problem. on the other 2 we are experiencing 100% cpu utilization.

we have followed the other posts on resolving this problem, but nothing works.

any suggestions for 100% cpu utilization and no file synchronization?

verify that the accounts (identities) are not in conflict (multiple with same
name).
Try a clean workspace - create a new Workspace, copy the data into it (via
tool
export/import) and then reinvite workspace members (then delete old space).

hi tim,

i also have come across similar 100% cpu utilization in groove 2007, and the
identities of all my accounts are different, workspaces have been cleaned but
yet this problem keeps occuring. sometimes groove works just fine and on
other days it just seems to go into a loop.

anyone else come across similar problem ?

any help ?

A couple of questions first:
How did you install Groove? Was it via an image with Groove? If so did you
start Groove prior to saving the image? Groove creates an identity for each
device it is installed on. If you start up Groove then save the image that
identity is installed on all the PC's and will result in similar behavior.

If you didn't image the software try doing an over-install or an uninstall
and reinstall. For some reason some of the dll's may not have registered
correctly and can result in cpu spikes like this. There are also some
programs that do not behave well with Groove and will unregister dll's such
as:
Cingular Air card manager software (install only the driver)

Had you created any workspaces or file sharing spaces prior to this issue
surfacing? If so did the issue start after adding files?

when you came across the groove issue with the cingular air card
did you reinstall cingular
reinstall groove
removw cingular totally?
