Groove 3.1 End Of Life

Hello,

Does anyone know how long the Groove 3.1 relay servers will remain active?
How long do we have before having to upgrade or stop using Groove?

Does that mean that even though an organisation has 3.1 throughout, the relay
servers might be taken down and effectively render Groove useless? They can
force you to upgrade?
I guess this would apply to 2.5 users as well?

If our new project team member who just bought Groove 3.1a on 3/20/2007
understood Microsoft correctly, old Groove users will not be able to use new
Groove users' work areas, but new Groove users can use old Groove users' work
spaces.

The support will be available for 2 years.
