Groove 3.1 & 2007

I'm using Groove 3.1 on my office system and have 'shared' workspaces with my
laptop for travel. It's a great convenience. I have just installed Office
20007 Enterprise on the laptop and the 2007 installed required I uninstall
Groove 3.1. I chose to preserve my account information. Upon starting
Groove 2007, I have the choice of deleting the existing account or upgrading
it to 2007. I'm reluctant to proceed until I understand all the
implications. I understand from the FAQ that a 3.1 account may invite a 2007
account to join. I believe it does not work in reverse.
- If I delete account info on the new 2007 system, does that leave the 3.1
data on the original host intact and usable in 3.1?
- If I upgrade the Groove account data on the new Offce 2007 installation,
will it remain fully usable on both the new 2007 system (laptop) and original
host machine?
- Are you aware of any issues in sharing workspaces with one account across
Groove 2007 and 3.1 versions?
Thanks!!
John

Thanks. Those are informative, but do not address the question about
extending use of Groove with one account across multiple computers. This was
easily done in Groove 3.1 and I presume it is a feature of Groove 2007. What
issues might I encounter by using my Groove 3.1 account on my office machine
to grant access/share work spaces with my laptop which has Groove 2007?
