Group by a Field and Sort by another??

Hello Experts,

I have created a text field1 in my schedule to tag certain activities with
lables so i can group by them. The problem i have is when i go to project
group by, i am forced to sort these groups alphabatically. there is a certain
order i like to have them by. Can I group on text 1 and sort the grouping
headers by another field (text 2 for example?)

Hello Hadi,

One option is to include your sort information as a number included
with the text. Then when you group, it will group by the numbers
you created instead of alphabetically. If you've manually entered
the text in, I suggest a find/replace command to quickly change the
data.

I was tyring to avoid showing the numbers infront of the titles. anyway i
can hide them..with white text or something?

I think it would be very hard to hide the numbers with white font
coloring as the grouping summary text is not available.
