group by dropdown in Project Professional 2003

How can I add or change the outline codes included in the 'group by' dropdown
filter when opening project in Proj Pro 2003? Am I limited to outline codes
or can I also include fields?

Project > Group By: > More Groups > New...and then create a custom group.

thanks Andrew, we're using Pro 2003 with MSPS. Does this apply to opening
projects from the server?

I think I misread your original posting. As far as opening files from MSPS
in MPP, my guess is that outline codes are the only way to manage that....could
be wrong on that score though.

Hi Steve,

AFAIK groups are saved in the project itself so once defined it will stay
available in teh project after dsaving and reopening.
