Grouping Data

Hi everyone, hope someone can help.

I have a spreadsheet with 14 separate grouping of data. Each group has 8
rows and 20 columns. Each group has a totals cell. I would like to sort
these 14 groups by the total cell. So far, I am at whits end to figure out
how to do this. I would guess that I have to freeze each group, but I don't
know. Any help would be appreciated.

Simply collapse the groups, select the total cells, and sort them.
What better way to say it but, ... the groups are *automatically* "grouped",
and "tied" to the summary (totals) cells.

All this is going under the assumption that your total cells are the
recognized "summary" cells of an XL group and/or outline.

You didn't include the total cells within the groups, did you?

Did you create your groups manually, or allow XL to do it. for you?
