Hangs when opening attachment or clicking on link

I have a problem which has just recently developed with
Outlook. The computer would hang when double clicking on
a .doc file attachment or when clicking on a web link
within the message. Now the computer will hang even if I
just highlight the message containing the attachment and
sometimes hangs when I click on Inbox.

I have also started to get this about a month ago since
then have updated windows xp and office but then
reinstalled office but no resolution.

I have 2 users complaining of the same problem. One has Outlook 2000 with
service pack 3 and the other has Outlook XP. This is in an exchange
environment. They both do have very large mailboxes but there are a lot
of other users that also have just as large mailboxes without this
problem.

If you have winfax pro 10.2 try uninstalling this reboot
and then try outlook again.. See the symantec support
