Having problem converting Distribution list from Outlook 2003 to 2

I emailed a distribution list created from Outlook 2003 as an attachment and
sent it to a PC running Outlook 2007. The attachment did not come accross as
a contacts distribution list but rather as an email with an "attachement"
folder but the folder was empty.

When I email it between a PC with Outlook 2003 and another PC with Outlook
2003, it comes across fine and I can drag and drop it into the contacts
folder but I am unable to do the same with Outlook 2007. Any suggestions?

How are you sending the DL? DLs are not very robust and are seldom used by people who depend on them. Use Categories instead. Having said that, if you save the DL to your desktop and then send as an attachment in an RTF message, does it work?

Hi Milly,
I emailed the distribution list created from Outlook 2003 as an attachment
(dragged from the contacts folder and dropped it into an email. When I open
the email in Outlook 2007 there is no attachement so I am unable to save it.
