Header and Footers disappearing

I'm using the track changes on my document and when I view the document in "print layout" and with the "Final with Markups" selected I see my headers and footers just fine. But when I change to "Final" all the headers and footers disappear. However, in the old version of Word 2000 I can see them just fine, it's only with Word 2002 I can't see the headers and footers in "Final" View. "Print Layout" from the View menu is always selected.

Hover your mouse over the space between pages until it changes to a
double-headed arrow and you get the ScreenTip "Show White Space," then
click.
