Header for three page letter

K

Kathleen Miller

I have a three page letter. I use view Header/Footer to create my header. I
have continuously tried to figure out how I can start a header on page two
(keeping page one as a different page) and have the header show up on both
page 2 and 3. Someone PLEASE help me. This is driving me crazy. It's
probably a no big deal thing, but I have tried and tried and tried. Please
HELP me!

1.Open the document template
2. File > page setup > layout > check different first page headers & footers
3. Insert a temporary page break (so the template now has two pages)
4. View > header and footer.
You can switch between the header and first page header using the two icons
on the right of the toolbar.
5. Set the header for first and subsequent pages as you want them.
6. Delete the page break
7. Save the template.
