Header showing up

I have a user who received a document from another person and when she views/prints it there is a header that prints. I don't know if the header is supposed to be hidden or what, but she says that she sent it to someone else and it did not print out on their PC. Any help would be great. Thanks. Matt

If the header is graphics (including text boxes), the
person who can't print it should go to Tools > Options >
Print and make sure the box is checked for Drawing Objects
(in the Include with Document section of the dialog box).

The person is getting a header w/ page numbers and a date, but nobody else is. She sees and prints a header that is not supposed to be there. thanks. Matt

This can happen if:

a. There is more than one section in the document (perhaps more than one
section on a page, to accommodate a multi-column portion).

b. In reformatting for the current printer, Word changes the page breaks so
that an extra page is created, or a section break moves from one page to the
next.

The result is that a header that was present in the document (or template)
but not being used surfaces. If the document (or section) is just one page
and has "Different first page" selected, this could be the Header that shows
up only when the document or section runs to two pages (because the first
page is using the [empty] First Page Header). Or it could be a header
associated with a section in the middle of a page, which shows up when that
middle section wraps over a page break.
