Headers and repeated text

I am trying to understand the difference between text put in a header and
what I call “repeated textâ€. On one of Publisher’s Newsletter templates, you
can change the “Newsletter Title†on the first page and it automatically
changes the title on the inside page. Same with the Volume # and Issue # of
the newsletter.

When I CTRL M to go the master page though, I see nothing. Are the repeated
text boxes “headersâ€, and if so, shouldn’t they appear on the master page?

Can anyone please direct me to a tutorial or other way I can clear this up?
Te “repeated text†boxes in the template seem to have more flexibility in
formatting and positioning which makes them more easier to format.

Thank you,
Phil

Hi, Phil vK -

The only way I know to do this is to use the INSERT> Personal Information
....and then use the various categories to best advantage. (For example, make
the "Tag Line" your volume information; your "Business Name" your newsletter
name.) Populate your publication with the personal information. (You can
change the text in one spot and it will change it in each of the
corresponding spots -- but still retain whatever formatting is set for each
individual spot.)

Experiment with it. (I use 2000.)

M.
