Can anyone tell me how can you identify which copy of Office is on what
machine? Here is our problem. We are upgrading a few machines in the office
to pro, don't ask why they have home, and as some of them have so many
problems, we want to do a clean install rather than passing the gremlins on.
Problem is, we then need to reinstall Office on all of them. Bigger problem
is, we have a box full of the office software disks, 5 copies of Office XP
and no way of knowing which copy is on which machine! Where do I look in the
program to tell me which is which? Is there a way. The machines all have
the license ID's for the OS, but how do we identify Office? They've
obviously all been activated long ago and I don't want to run into any
problems.
Thanks for your help
