Help in creating website

V

Varsi Klatzkin

I am creating a website for my riding club. I have basically "no" computer
knowledge but so far it is coming along OK. I keep different files in
Microsoft Word and Excel that I would like visitors to the website to be able
to just click a word on the website and have it take them to that file. I am
able to do this on other people's websites and want to be able to do this on
mine. Remember I don't know anything about HTPL or any of that other stuff
so when you answer consider yourself talking to someone as old as your
grandmother. I know probably less than her.

Thanks,

Varsi
(e-mail address removed) is my e-mail address. I'm not sure what this place has
it listed as..... That's how illiterate I am

If I can only teach you one thing, then it must be this:

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER post your real email address in a public newsgroup.
Unless you enjoy spam, that is.

Private responses are not given because that defeats the purpose of having a
public newsgroup.

(BTW - I too am old enough to be a grandmother although I am hesitant to
admit that. Age has nothing to do with computer knowledge.)

Thanks for that information. Clearly I did not know. Also, I was not
knocking grandmother's.

I know you weren't making fun of grandmothers. I just didn't want you to
sell yourself short just because you aren't 20-something. ;-)
